About Fatima
Facilitation and Consultancy
Fatima is an experienced Organisational Development consultant and clinical psychologist. She has worked with various organizations in areas of leadership development, change management and EAP consultancy.
Fatima has worked with organizations such as Standbank and Eskom on strategy and team development around change management related interventions. She has also worked with various NGO (including Soul City and Netcare) and corporate clients on diversity management interventions. Her passion for facilitation and creating a space for supporting learning to take place has seen her work with organizations at various levels in order to engage them to experience real and sustainable transformation.
Fatima has also worked for over 4 years since 2003 on a combination of full-time and consultant role for ICAS, an international organization specializing in Behaviour Risk Management in the capacity of Organisational Development consultant, facilitator and EAP consultant.
Coaching
Fatima is also currently involved in projects involving the use of components of Emotional Intelligence as one of the key tools in leadership development and also coaching corporate executives and teams on how to use these and other tools to reach their potential and increase productivity and the “bottom line”. She is currently involved in coaching projects for companies such as Nedbank, Transnet, Eskom and as an associate coach for organizations such as Connemara Consulting and Centre for Conscious Leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Australia)
- BA Hons in Psychology (University of Pretoria)
- MA in Clinical Psychology with the University of South Africa.
- Basics of Business Programme (with Distinction) with the University of South Africa.
- Co-Active Coaching Training Programme run through the Coaches Training Institute (UK) with accreditation to the International Coach Federation.
- Certified user of the Bar-on Emotional Intelligence assessment tool.
Interests
Among many projects close to her heart, Fatima also works with the youth from disadvantaged backgrounds in Pretoria around life skills and leadership development in order to support future leaders in realizing their potential. Her motto is “Dare to Dream…If you can see it, you can be it”.
