Trainer and Facilitator
Since February 2007 Liezel has worked with leading consulting and training companies, facilitating their management and leadership interventions for various South African organizations, including Vodacom, SAB, FNB, Transnet, Nedbank. She also facilitated soft skills training programmes at Absa and was involved with the 2008 Absa Graduate programme. The workshop topics include Living and Leading Change; Communicating with Impact, Growing People (Problem solving, Motivation and Coaching), Time management and Team Effectiveness for Managers, various Sales programmes, various Customer service programmes, Coaching conversations, Assertiveness, Conflict Handling, Conflict management, Presentation skills, Building and sustaining effective teams, Interpersonal skills, Emotional intelligence and Stress management
Management and Leadership
Her biggest learning experience was being a Director at CS People Solutions, part of the CS Holdings group of companies (now part of Bytes Technologies). In various leadership roles, including Branch manager, National Operations manager and Operations Director she has learnt valuable lessons in management and leadership. The most important lessons being finding the balance between People and making money and still build a sustainable, competitive business!
During her time at CS Holdings and as a Key Account manager at CIDAlearning she gained extensive experience in managing and implement training and development projects.
Since Feb 2007 she has been a freelance consultant, trainer and facilitator.
Coaching
In various leadership positions Liezel has always been passionate about the development of team members and co-workers. She informally coached and mentored various people on professional growth, career challenges and deepening their interpersonal relationships. She is currently finalizing her Executive and Career Coaching qualification at UNISA.

- BA with Psychology III, Industrial Psychology II (University of Pretoria)
- Higher Diploma in Education (University of Pretoria)
Other interests
She is involved with the Mamelodi Trust at Meetse A Baphelo School and enjoys having fun in learning with Grade 3 & 4’s. Her favorite saying: “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what YOU need to come alive… our world needs people to come alive”, reminds her every day to persue those important things in life that brings balance. Balance that is hard to find in today’s “busy-ness” and as a working mom, partner, community member and friend it is a lifelong journey.
